Senior Backend Software Engineer (9 Month Contract)

Role Overview

Senior Backend Software Engineer to build and improve systems within a microservices architecture, working primarily on backend services with a strong emphasis on Go (Golang).

Key Missions

• Design, enhance, and perfect systems and functions in a microservices setup.
• Collaborate with a talented team to deliver software services and products using patented database technology.
• Contribute across the backend technology stack, including Go, Protobuf, gRPC, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• Established Senior Backend Engineer with a strong backend-focused skill set.
• Strong focus on Golang as the primary language (polyglot acceptable if you have meaningful Go exposure).
• Experience solving large and complex problems in application development.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and work in smaller, focused teams.
• Customer-focused mindset and genuine passion for problem solving and coding.
• At least 7 years of professional software development experience with a backend focus.

• Interest in Data Science.
• Experience working in Agile teams and CI/CD environments.
