Role overview

As a Senior Backend Engineer (Workforce Verification) at Socure, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of software solutions that help eliminate identity fraud. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and help deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure products.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy innovative backend software solutions for workforce verification and identity fraud prevention.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product delivery.
Mentor junior engineers and support engineering best practices.
Contribute in an Agile environment to ship high-quality solutions.
Ensure systems are secure and built for scalability.

Requirements

5–7 years of significant hands-on coding experience.
Strong programming and design fundamentals and excellent problem-solving.
Experience architecting microservices and building RESTful APIs.
Solid understanding of concurrency and multi-threading.
Strong analytical reasoning, with the ability to visualize processes and outcomes.
Golang experience is required (preferred in a product development environment).

Nice to have

Experience with high-throughput, low-latency storage, cloud computing, NoSQL databases, big data analytics, machine learning services, or large-scale systems.
Passion for continuous learning and growth while building high-performance systems.
