Role overview

Join Socure as a Senior Backend Engineer, acting as a technical leader for the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure backend systems.

Key missions / responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and debug components for distributed systems operating at large scale and high speed.
Own non-functional requirements including scalability, availability, and security.
Collaborate cross-functionally and elevate technology standards by applying best practices.
Mentor junior engineers and support high-quality engineering delivery.

Requirements

Strong foundation in programming and software design with excellent problem-solving and coding skills.
Solid understanding of concurrency and multi-threading.
Experience architecting microservices and building RESTful APIs.
Strong analytical and reasoning abilities.
5–7 years of hands-on coding experience, preferably with Go (Golang).

Nice-to-haves

Experience with high-throughput / low-latency storage, cloud computing, NoSQL databases, big data analytics, machine learning services, or other large-scale systems.
