Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and support a part of Monzo’s platform.
Write application code primarily in Go.
Develop and operate resilient software and distributed systems.
Use technologies such as Cassandra, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, and GCP to deliver customer-focused outcomes.

Requirements

Strong backend engineering experience for a technology product.
Product mindset focused on customer outcomes and data-informed decisions.
Interest in distributed systems and writing resilient software.
Comfortable working in teams handling ambiguity.
Experience with strongly-typed languages (e.g., Go, Java, C, Scala).

Nice to have

Enjoy learning and adapting; formal qualifications or degrees are not required.
