Join Sifflet as a Senior Backend Engineer (Monitoring). You will design and implement new data quality checks, build features for efficient monitoring, and scale the monitoring engine to support more customers and larger datasets.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new types of data quality checks
- Build product features to let users monitor their entire data stack efficiently
- Scale the monitoring engine to support growing customer workloads, including massive data sets
- Collaborate with the monitoring team to evolve checks and related workflows
Requirements
- 7+ years of backend engineering experience
- General knowledge of the modern data stack ecosystem (especially data warehouses and databases)
- Ability to own projects end-to-end (design to production)
- Initiative-taking mindset
- Willingness to learn Python if needed
Nice to have
- Exposure to ML topics (even though the role is not ML engineering)
