Role overview
Join Veza as a Senior Backend Engineer (Identity Security & Agentic Systems) working on backend services for LLM research and agentic systems. You’ll build APIs, prototype LLM-based capabilities, and design systems that support context-aware and autonomous decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement evolving backend architectures and intelligent agent systems.
- Build APIs and backend services, along with testing and evaluation frameworks in Python/Go.
- Develop agent orchestration layers and work with agent frameworks such as LangGraph or AutoGen.
- Create systems supporting context-awareness and autonomous decision-making.
- Own backend/product features end-to-end, from ideation to deployment.
- Design RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
Requirements
- Proficiency in one or more: Python, Golang, or Java.
- 5+ years of backend development experience.
- Experience or strong curiosity in GenAI, multi-agent systems, and prompt orchestration.
- Strong communication skills; can explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with IAM.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with LangGraph and/or AutoGen.
