About the role

Role overview

As a Senior Backend Monetization Engineer at Feeld, you will design, build, and operate scalable backend systems that power Feeld’s revenue-generating experiences. You’ll be responsible for the reliability and correctness of the monetization funnel, and help support experimentation and analytics in partnership with the Data team.

Key missions

Design, build, and operate secure, scalable backend systems for monetization and revenue flows.
Own monetization funnel health, ensuring reliability and performance of systems that keep Feeld sustainable.
Collaborate with the Data team to build and maintain analytics and reporting for revenue performance, user behavior, and system health.

Responsibilities

Ensure monetization flows are highly reliable and correct.
Support faster experimentation by enabling analytics/measurement and data-driven product decisions.
Work across teams to translate technical requirements into business-impacting systems.

Requirements

Extensive experience in Backend development.
Experience with in-app purchases, pricing, and other revenue-related services.
Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical cross-functional partners.
Experience designing/building backend services for high-throughput, business-critical workloads (payments, subscriptions, financial systems).
Comfortable working with databases, APIs, and ensuring data integrity and security in production.
Experience building/maintaining subscription platforms, billing systems, or working with payment providers such as:
- Adapty, Stripe, RevenueCat, Apple/Google in-app purchase APIs.
Experience with analytics pipelines, experimentation frameworks, and/or feature flagging.
Experience mentoring engineers or leading initiatives that improved reliability, performance, or developer experience.
Experience supporting mobile backend integration and cross-platform monetization flows across iOS, Android, and web.

Nice-to-haves

Prior direct experience improving monetization funnel performance via experiments and analytics.
