About the role

Role Overview

Join EvenUp’s Cases Product Engineering team as a Senior Backend Engineer. You will lead enhancements to the integration engine and help deliver a significantly improved customer experience, working across the full project lifecycle.

Key Missions

Lead architecture and development of software integrations to enhance the integration engine and customer user experience.
Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and implement them efficiently and innovatively.
Own the full project lifecycle from conception through deployment and iteration, while optimizing performance and responsiveness.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience building applications and services.
Strong software development fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
Familiarity with SOAP, REST, and GraphQL and solid server-side/data skills including SQL.
Ability to design and develop RESTful APIs following industry best practices.
Extensive experience integrating with third-party vendors and building reliable integration frameworks.
Clear communication of technical ideas/issues in actionable, easy-to-understand terms.
Willingness to mentor and share knowledge with other engineers.

Nice to Have

Experience with React/TypeScript.
Experience in AI, legal tech, and/or social impact projects.
