Role overview
You’ll join Yubo as a Senior Backend Engineer (Engagement & Monetization). You will set backend technical direction for the team and deliver backend changes that drive key business KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Define backend technical direction for Engagement & Monetization initiatives.
- Translate product and monetization objectives into backend specifications.
- Deliver backend changes that improve KPI performance and directly impact core business metrics.
- Ensure work is production-ready.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and design feedback.
- Contribute to backend codebase improvements.
Requirements
- Senior-level backend experience with the ability to define technical direction and deliver impactful changes.
- Strong collaboration skills, including mentoring through reviews and pairing.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in backend systems tied to engagement and monetization metrics.
