Senior Backend Developer - Node.js

As a Senior Backend Developer (Node.js), you will design and develop backend services powering scalable platforms for a global user base, with strong ownership from architecture through deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Build and optimize APIs and microservices for high-throughput, low-latency applications
• Contribute to new features and product launches using Agile methodologies
• Ensure scalability and reliability for global usage and real-time transactions
• Implement strong security practices to protect data and infrastructure
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate backend services with other systems
• Work with MySQL and MongoDB to manage and optimize data storage and retrieval
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve backend architecture

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript for production-grade applications
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Experience with high-availability, scalable platforms
• Hands-on experience with MySQL and MongoDB
• Familiarity with backend security best practices
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and debugging skills focused on performance and scalability

Nice to have

• Experience with message queues, caching, or job queues (e.g., Redis)
• Knowledge of additional languages such as Ruby, Rust, or C++
• Exposure to blockchain technologies or high-availability systems
