Role Overview

Build and support enterprise-grade APIs and cloud-native applications for a next-generation payments platform.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support enterprise APIs and cloud-native applications
Build a payments API platform using scalable, resilient, and secure microservices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create enterprise API and event-driven integration solutions
Implement observability practices: logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting
Serve as a technical mentor, providing guidance on application architecture and cloud-native best practices
Work in an Agile environment leveraging DevOps, automated testing, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code

Requirements

7+ years of software development experience building enterprise applications and APIs
5+ years with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework
Experience deploying cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience with Kubernetes and Docker and microservices architectures
Experience designing/building RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations
Experience with Apache Kafka or managed Kafka platforms
