About the role

Role Overview

You will be a Senior Backend Developer helping lead development and testing of banking core systems and services. You’ll shape the technical architecture for the product and core banking migration, translate product requirements into technical solutions, and deliver highly available, scalable services in production.

Key Responsibilities

Lead development and testing of banking core systems and services, ensuring high availability and scalability.
Participate in shaping the technical architecture for product evolution and core banking migration.
Translate product requirements into user stories and technical solutions.
Support a strong technical culture, help grow the team, and generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies.
Own delivery through project ownership and end-to-end execution.

Required Profile

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, and 3 years of experience in the role or a related occupation.

PSL (Profile Scripting Language)
GT.M / MUMPS (hierarchical databases)
Core banking development (FIS Profile)
Linux/UNIX application environments
Data migration and system upgrades
Banking & Financial services domain knowledge
US banking domain knowledge
Requirements analysis and functional documentation
Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) system integration

Nice-to-Have (implied)

Deeper experience across banking migration initiatives and large-scale production support.
