Senior AWS DevOps Engineer - Remote - USA

Role Overview

FullStack is hiring a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer (100% remote) to work with a product team on building and delivering client-facing products.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver cloud-native products with a DevOps mindset
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications
• Manage and evolve infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
• Support production operations with strong monitoring, logging, and observability
• Apply security best practices and maintain compliance in cloud environments
• Automate workflows using scripting (and optionally agentic AI tools)
• Contribute to tooling/libraries and resolve new/difficult issues with strong attention to detail

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional DevOps Engineering experience
• Advanced English; 4-year college degree required
• Strong AWS experience: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, EKS (and related services)
• Deep Kubernetes experience in production (container orchestration)
• Proven Terraform usage for Infrastructure-as-Code
• Hands-on CI/CD pipeline experience for cloud-native applications
• Deep experience with observability tools: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana
• Solid understanding of cloud security/compliance best practices
• Scripting experience: Python, Bash, or similar
• Experience with Agile/Scrum teams and delivery on large/complex systems
• Ability to take extreme ownership and work consistently ~40 hours/week

Nice to Have

• AI-enthusiastic workflow; experience leveraging agentic AI tools to automate DevOps workflows
• Experience with AI developer tools such as: Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, Copilot CLI
• Familiarity with additional automation/agent tooling ecosystems
