Senior AWS DevOps Engineer - Remote - USA

Role Overview

FullStack is hiring a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to work with a product team to build and deliver client products and cloud-native applications.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure and containerized production systems.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications.
• Own monitoring, logging, and observability to ensure production reliability (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Apply security best practices and compliance in cloud environments.
• Automate DevOps workflows using scripting and, when applicable, agentic AI tools.
• Triage and resolve complex, difficult issues with strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English required.
• 4-year college degree required.
• Extensive AWS experience with services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and EKS.
• Deep production experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Proven Terraform Infrastructure-as-Code experience.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience for cloud-native applications.
• Deep knowledge of monitoring/logging/observability (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance.
• Scripting experience (e.g., Python or Bash) for automation.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum teams and working on large, complex systems.
• Ability to take extreme ownership and maintain 40 hours/week.

Nice to Have

• AI-enthusiastic workflow; experience using or experimenting with agentic/automation tools.
• Familiarity with tools like Cursor/Windsurf/Claude Code/Gemini CLI/Copilot CLI (or similar).
