Role overview

Contract opportunity for a credentialed Architecture Domain Expert to contribute to a benchmark dataset project focused on visual document understanding and instruction-following in the built environment. Experts will author complex tasks with clear ground-truth outputs and objective evaluation rubrics.

What you’ll be doing

• Author high-quality benchmark tasks grounded in architecture knowledge, including:
  • Visual document interpretation
  • Instruction-following scenarios
• Develop clear ground-truth outputs and objective evaluation rubrics for assessing generative model performance
• Apply deep architectural domain expertise to ensure tasks are accurate, nuanced, and appropriately challenging
• Collaborate with researchers to shape how creative systems understand and process architectural content
• Manage your own schedule within a flexible weekly commitment (15–20 hours/week), working fully remotely

Who we’re looking for

• Strong experience in architecture (e.g., building design, technical documentation, spatial reasoning, or related disciplines)
• Ability to interpret and author tasks involving architectural drawings/plans/elevations and other visual documentation
• Comfort working with structured evaluation criteria and producing precise, unambiguous outputs
• Familiarity with professional architecture practice; formal credentials/licensure preferred
• Portfolio or demonstrable body of work in the architecture domain expected
