About the role
Role Overview
The Computer Vision Platform team at GameChanger builds and operates real-time inference infrastructure that powers CV-driven experiences for millions of users. You will partner with CV researchers to productionize models, collaborate with MLOps and backend engineers to evolve platform capabilities, and help shape the technical direction of the CV platform.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with CV researchers: understand goals, review code, and engineer for reliability and performance at scale.
- Profile and optimize performance-sensitive code across training and real-time inference.
- Identify patterns across research efforts and propose standardized, composable abstractions.
- Translate recurring research pain points into platform investments via design documents and architecture proposals.
- Guide researchers on production-oriented engineering practices (e.g., testability, modularity, performance profiling).
Who You Are
- 6+ years software engineering experience, including 4+ years building ML systems.
- Experience with production ML systems.
- Hands-on experience with Python and PyTorch.
- Docker for containerization and experience deploying to AWS.
- Experience with data-intensive distributed systems (e.g., optimizing I/O, GPU utilization, and parallel processing).
- Experience collaborating directly with researchers to deliver performant, reliable, maintainable production systems.
- Experience building internal libraries/tools/platforms that other engineers rely on.

Salary
