Senior Application Developer (.NET/Angular/TypeScript)

Role Overview

Senior Application Developer to design, build, and maintain software applications for an analytics/consulting organization. Join the Tech Services team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with hybrid flexibility/remote-first support for those outside the DC area.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust, scalable applications using .NET Core, Angular, TypeScript, and related technologies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, efficient code aligned with best practices.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs to maintain smooth application performance.
• Integrate components and third-party programs to meet specifications.
• Partner with IT to set up and maintain MS SQL databases.
• Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture.
• Adapt and extend existing web applications.
• Create and test prototypes.
• Build client displays and user interfaces.
• Assist with project-related work and coordinate with other developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years as an Application Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in .NET Core, Angular 17, TypeScript, MS SQL, and Bootstrap.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong application design and architecture knowledge.
• High organizational and leadership capability.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Proactive, able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

• Experience that demonstrates leadership qualities (“lead a team of developers” is mentioned).
