About the role

Role Overview

Senior Application Developer (.NET/Angular/TypeScript) for a DC-based analytics and consulting firm. You will design, build, and maintain software applications that impact both customers and the business, working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Design and develop robust, scalable applications using .NET Core, Angular, TypeScript, and related technologies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Write clean, maintainable, efficient code and follow best development practices
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix software bugs to ensure smooth performance
Integrate software components and third-party programs to meet specifications
Work with the IT team to set up and maintain MS SQL databases
Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture
Adapt and enhance existing web applications
Create and test software prototypes
Develop client displays and user interfaces
Support project-related work and coordinate with other developers and software personnel

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years experience as an Application Developer or similar role
Proficiency in .NET Core, Angular, TypeScript, MS SQL, and Bootstrap
Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Deep expertise in software/application design and architecture
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Excellent English communication (verbal and written)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Nice-to-Haves

Experience/interest in technical leadership and coordinating developer efforts
