Senior Angular Front End Software Developer

Role Overview

Senior Software Developer (Angular Front-End) at ICF, supporting a federal project migrating key applications to Azure Cloud. This role can be 100% remote anywhere in the US and involves delivering end-to-end solutions with strong emphasis on front-end development.

Responsibilities

• Participate in full life-cycle software engineering in an end-to-end project environment
• Stay current on assigned specialties and expand into additional areas
• Perform thorough code reviews and enforce code quality
• Implement unit and integration tests
• Bring new ideas, tools, services, and techniques to the team
• Use analytical thinking to make decisions based on facts and metrics
• Lead initiatives at (or slightly above) the current level/role
• Develop and follow ICF coding standards
• Contribute to asynchronous communication and thrive in a remote environment
• Own smaller efforts/components within larger projects

Requirements (Minimum Qualifications)

• 3+ years front-end development with Angular or React (Angular preferred)
• 3+ years writing/debugging SQL queries and building apps integrating with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server)
• 2+ years working with REST APIs
• 2+ years with Agile and Scrum (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
• 2+ years with DevSecOps and experience with CI/CD pipelines
• US Citizenship required and must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance
• Must reside in and work performed in the US (federal contract requirement)

Preferred Skills

• Docker and Kubernetes
• 2+ years with Azure Cloud
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, mathematics, or equivalent experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
