About the role

Role overview

Fetch is hiring a Senior Android Engineer for the mobile team. You’ll work on improving the Fetch app experience in the third-party rewards and shoppability domains—helping millions of users browse, discover, and activate partner rewards and shoppable products that reliably earn Fetch points through attribution.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver Android features for third-party rewards and shoppability experiences.
  • Build fast, intuitive Android experiences integrated into the broader Fetch ecosystem.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners and contribute directly to the codebase.
  • Help shape best practices to improve quality, reliability, and impact.
  • Work within a modern Android codebase and architecture, delivering maintainable solutions at scale.

Requirements

  • Strong Android engineering experience with a focus on modern best practices.
  • Proficiency with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
  • Experience using MVVM and Hilt for dependency injection.
  • Familiarity with Android persistence and modern Android tooling (e.g., Room, Gradle).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in large modular Android architectures (e.g., 150+ modules).
  • Experience with build/performance tooling such as remote caches and CI pipelines.
  • Comfort working at the intersection of e-commerce, marketing technology, and attribution.

About Fetch

It powers an outcomes-based advertising approach by turning millions of submitted receipts into a large retail-agnostic, SKU-level view of household spending, helping brands acquire and retain lifelong consumers.
