About the role

Role Overview

Join Finom as a Senior Android Developer (or Tech Lead), embedded in a cross-functional domain team. You will own end-to-end feature development, shape architecture decisions, raise engineering quality, and mentor other engineers.

Key Missions

Conception and development of new features for the Android app, with emphasis on multi-account cash flow management, bank transactions, and payments.
Ensure code quality, performance, and stability, including automated tests and thorough code reviews.
Collaborate closely with Backend, QA, Design, and Product to deliver solutions end-to-end and make technical decisions within your domain.

Requirements

Proven track record shipping product features that matter.
Clear communication in English across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Kotlin expertise (with 5+ years of commercial Android development); Java knowledge is a plus.
Experience with Feature-module architecture in production.
Reactive/async: RxJava and/or Kotlin Coroutines / Flow.
Practical Firebase experience: FCM, Analytics, Crashlytics.
Networking: Retrofit.
Dependency injection: Dagger 2 / Hilt / Koin.
Modern UI and presentation patterns: Jetpack Compose, plus MVI, MVVM, or MVP (choose appropriately).
Strong OOP and architecture fundamentals: SOLID and Clean Architecture.
Git/GitLab experience, including GitLab CI/CD.
Understanding of mobile security best practices, especially for fintech.
UI performance optimization experience: reducing overdraw, improving recomposition efficiency, and hitting smooth 60/120fps rendering.
Performance tooling: Android Profiler, Perfetto, Baseline Profiles, or similar.
Published apps on Google Play.
Active GitHub profile.

Nice-to-Haves / Additional

Background in fintech or financial products.
Hands-on experience with AI agents and LLM tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Copilot): agent setup, prompts, skills, behavioral rules.
Experience with AI-powered IDE tools (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot): agent mode, rules configuration, integrating AI into daily workflow.
Ability to evaluate and verify AI output (tests, linters, critical review) to catch hallucinations/errors.
Awareness of AI security risks (prompt injection, data leakage) and safe handling of untrusted inputs.
