Senior Analytics Engineer

Role Overview

PurposeCare is hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer to join its data & technology team. You will build and maintain analytics solutions that support business objectives and improve the delivery of care.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain complex data models for operational and reporting needs.
• Partner with internal and external teams to implement data-driven solutions that improve care delivery and business value.
• Establish data quality and integrity standards to ensure accurate, reliable data.
• Perform data exploration and investigation to identify insights and patterns in healthcare and business system data.
• Develop and maintain data infrastructure, including data pipelines, databases, and data warehousing solutions.
• Develop, automate, and maintain reports and dashboards for clear, actionable stakeholder insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, healthcare informatics, statistics, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience working with data in an analytical, engineering, or business environment.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation.
• Ability to communicate technical work to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
• Interest in operationalizing new data and AI tools on cloud-based platforms.
• Experience building or contributing to complex data models using DBT.
• Experience working with healthcare or other regulated sensitive data.

Location & Work Setup

• Based in Chicago (Rosemont office) or fully remote.
• Occasional on-site support at branches as needed.

Compensation

• $100,000–$130,000 base salary plus bonus (target near midpoint). Offer may vary by experience, qualifications, and location.
