Role Overview

Senior Analytics Engineer at Life360, supporting the Analytics Data Engineering team. You’ll turn Life360’s high-volume data into trusted, well-modeled datasets that power analytics, reporting, and data science.

Responsibilities

Transform large-scale data into reliable, well-modeled datasets for analytics and data science.
Build data products that make metrics accessible and understandable to stakeholders at all levels.
Apply strong data modeling practices and SQL to support analytics needs.
Contribute to data engineering work inside the Databricks-based platform, including building/maintaining pipelines that feed modeled datasets.
Collaborate to ensure data quality, compliance, security, cost, and performance across the pipeline lifecycle.

Requirements

Strong foundation in data modeling, SQL, and Python.
Deep understanding of business metrics.
Passion for making data clear, usable, and actionable for stakeholders.

Nice-to-Haves / AI-Native Expectations

Experience using AI/LLMs responsibly in engineering workflows (e.g., code generation with quality standards and testing).
