Senior Analytics Engineer

Role overview

As a Senior Analytics Engineer (IC) at Enerflo, you’ll own the company’s data infrastructure end-to-end—from ETLs and data models to dashboards and analytics used by leadership and account managers. This is a remote (US preferred) role with AI-forward expectations, where you actively integrate AI into your workflow and help make the data foundation AI-ready.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and optimize ETL pipelines pulling from PostgreSQL/MySQL, QuickBooks, HubSpot, and Intercom
• Build and maintain Domo dashboards, custom reports, and Beast Mode calculations for leadership and account managers
• Audit and improve data schema, focusing on structure and long-term data model quality
• Write Python scripts to automate workflows, transformations, and reduce manual effort (leveraging AI coding tools)
• Drive an AI data readiness strategy: identify data gaps, clean/structure data, and enable an infrastructure layer AI can reliably query
• Proactively surface insights by pairing customer/account-manager feedback with deep data analysis
• Improve data quality, pipeline reliability, and reporting efficiency using AI tools as a force multiplier
• Collaborate closely with the Co-Founder/CEO, account managers, product, and engineering

Requirements

• Deep SQL fluency and strong schema design and query optimization (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
• Proven experience building and maintaining ETL/data pipelines at scale
• Strong Python for automation, transformation, and workflow tooling
• Practical experience with Domo (ETL management, dashboards, Beast Mode)
• AI fluency and curiosity: actively using AI tools daily and thinking about what “AI-ready” data looks like
• 5+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering (preferred)
• English fluency required
