Senior Analytics Engineer

Role overview

Digible is hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer to join its Data team. You will work at the center of the company’s data warehouse strategy, helping power Fiona and analytics-driven decisions across the business.

Responsibilities

• Own the Silver and Gold layers of Digible’s medallion architecture.
• Build and govern the semantic layer to ensure every metric has a single, authoritative definition.
• Shape BI tooling and standards so stakeholders can rely on consistent metrics.
• Translate analyst and business stakeholder questions into trustworthy models and metrics.
• Partner with Data Engineering on the Bronze-to-Silver handoff and ensure correctness, consistency, and efficiency.
• Ensure warehouse performance and cost efficiency while enabling self-serve analytics.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate engineering work (building, debugging, and delivery).

Requirements / what you’ll love

• Enjoy writing production-grade SQL and dbt transformations.
• Care deeply about metric integrity and warehouse performance.
• Experience across the modern data stack (Digible uses dbt, Snowflake, Fivetran, Prefect).
• Strong belief that metrics should be defined once and trusted everywhere; motivated to prevent metric drift and duplicate definitions.
• Treat data quality as a product (governed, reusable data assets).
• Approach ambiguous problems with a customer-first, curious mindset.
• Thrive in ambiguity and contribute to team growth through pairing and shared learning.
