Senior AI Scientist

Role overview

Join Covera Health as a Senior AI Scientist. You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team to leverage healthcare data and build AI algorithms aimed at improving patient care, particularly in radiology.

Key missions

• Design and develop AI algorithms to reduce diagnostic errors in radiology
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to build and deploy the clinical research roadmap
• Mentor junior researchers and lead AI development processes

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience post-PhD or 4+ years post-MS
• Strong deep learning background, with familiarity in state-of-the-art NLP and/or CV techniques
• Experience conducting independent research
• PhD or MS in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or a related field
• Applied programming experience in Python and PyTorch
• Ability to work both independently and in a multidisciplinary team

Nice-to-haves

• Exposure to medical imaging applications of AI
• Experience training at scale with multi-GPU and large datasets, including:
  • Model/data parallelism
  • Model sharding
  • Mixed-precision training
• Contributions to research communities and/or journals (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, CVPR, MICCAI)
