Senior AI Platform Specialist Solution Architect

Role overview

Red Hat North America Technology Sales is seeking an AI Platform Specialist Solution Architect (SSA) to deliver deep technical sales support for Red Hat AI go-to-market (GTM) efforts across North America. You will help remove adoption blockers in key accounts, position Red Hat as the preferred AI platform, and enable customers to train, build, and manage applications powered by proprietary data.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives, Sales Specialists, and other solution architects to identify challenges and blockers to adopting Red Hat AI in new and existing accounts.
• Plan, design, and execute AI systems with customers, including:
  • Architecture and building data pipelines
  • ML pipelines
  • ML training and serving approaches
• Facilitate pre- and post-sales technical activities, such as:
  • Technical deep dives
  • Proofs of concept, “bake-offs”
  • Internal sprints and hackathons
  • Partner vertical-specific AI solution development
• Identify and collaborate with AI stakeholders, advocating across line-of-business and internal account teams.
• Work with the AI business unit and engineering to provide a market feedback loop on products and solutions.
• Support customer advocacy and community outreach, including conference speaking and blog posts.

Requirements

• SME with 4+ years hands-on experience in one or more of:
  • Machine Learning Use Case Development, including building AI applications (deep learning, LLM/RAG, NLP, computer vision, pattern recognition)
  • Practical Python experience and applied ML techniques using OSS frameworks such as TensorFlow and/or PyTorch
  • MLOps / AI systems operations, including successful AI systems design (architecting and explaining data/ML pipelines and ML training/serving)
  • CI/CD solutions for MLOps/LLMOps, plus automation with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible)
  • Experience delivering technical presentations and leading business-value sessions
  • Executive presence and strong public speaking

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or similar)
• Experience as a sales engineer, technical sales, or similar role (enterprise software/SaaS/system integrator)
• Experience as an implementation consultant for AI solutions
• Industry vertical experience with data science projects (e.g., FSI, medical, defense, intelligence)
• Community brand via volunteering in tech communities (e.g., AI Users Group) or open-source projects
