Senior AI Platform Specialist Solution Architect

Role overview

The Red Hat North America Technology Sales team is seeking a Senior AI Platform Specialist Solution Architect (SSA) to deliver deep technical sales support for Red Hat AI GTM in North America. You’ll work with customer and internal teams to remove adoption blockers, shape architectures, and help customers train, build, and manage AI applications using their proprietary data.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executive, Sales Specialist, and Solution Architect to identify customer challenges and adoption blockers for Red Hat AI
• Plan, design, and execute AI systems with customers, including:
  • data pipeline architecture
  • ML pipeline design
  • ML training and serving approaches
• Facilitate pre-/post-sales technical engagements, such as:
  • deep technical dives, proofs of concept
  • “bake-offs”, internal sprints/hackathons
  • partner vertical-specific AI solution development
• Identify and engage AI stakeholders within customer organizations; advocate across line-of-business and internal teams
• Collaborate with Red Hat AI product/engineering teams to provide a market feedback loop
• Drive customer advocacy and community outreach (e.g., conference speaking, blog posts)
• Support cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Success, Consulting Services, and partners) to ensure strong customer experience

Requirements

• 4+ years hands-on experience in one or more of:
  • Machine Learning Use Case Development (e.g., deep learning, LLM/RAG, NLP, computer vision, pattern recognition)
  • Practical Python (statistical programming) and applied ML techniques
  • OSS frameworks such as TensorFlow and/or PyTorch
  • MLOps / AI system operations design, including architecting and explaining data/ML pipelines and ML training/serving approaches
  • Experience with CI/CD for MLOps and LLMOps, and automation with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g., Ansible)
• Ability to deliver technical presentations and lead business-value sessions
• Executive presence with strong public speaking skills

Nice to have

• Computer Science (or similar) degree
• Prior experience as a sales engineer/technical sales or similar role in enterprise/SaaS/system integrators
• Prior AI implementation consulting experience
• Additional ML use case development + operations experience
• Industry vertical experience (e.g., FSI, medical, defense, intelligence)
• Community brand via volunteering (e.g., AI Users Group) or open-source contributions
