About the role

Role overview

Join Imprint as a Senior AI Engineer to develop and iterate on the company’s internal agent platform. You’ll build AI agents end-to-end, integrate them with internal systems, evangelize their use, and measure impact across functions.

Responsibilities

Design and develop Imprint’s internal agent platform, including specialized agents to automate workflows across teams.
Build secure, scalable agent orchestration systems and integrate with existing technology stacks.
Partner with teams to identify automation opportunities and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Rapidly prototype using cutting-edge AI frameworks and models.
Implement RAG pipelines, embedding workflows, and multi-modal AI solutions.

Requirements

5–7 years of experience in a high-growth technical environment (or roles requiring self-starting/entrepreneurial skills).
Deep understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent frameworks.
Strong programming skills, especially Go (primary backend language), plus Java/Python or similar.
Strong API design and system integration capabilities.
Experience working with prompting and, when needed, code/API-level implementation.
Experience with AI safety and security practices.
Experience with RAG architectures and model evaluation.
Customer-centric mindset and ability to turn business problems into technical solutions.

Nice-to-haves

Experience with AI/ML providers/APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini.
Familiarity with AI tooling and agent/automation tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Notion AI, and Dust, Gumloop, n8n, Zapier.
Experience building internal tools and developer-facing products.
