Senior AI Engineer Architect

Role Overview

Senior AI Engineer/Architect (remote) through Lemon.io, connecting you with hand-picked startup projects. The rate depends on your skills and experience, with no client hunting or rate negotiation required.

What You’ll Do

• Build AI projects from scratch and work within fast-paced startup environments
• Communicate directly with clients (many have technical backgrounds)
• Support project delivery end-to-end with Lemon.io throughout the cooperation process
• Work with the level of autonomy expected for a senior role (no micromanagement)
• Operate with an async-friendly workflow (minimal overlap during working hours possible)

Requirements (AI Engineer)

• 3+ years of commercial experience applying AI to practical technology solutions
• Python (solid understanding required)
• Vector databases: Pinecone or Weaviate (required)
• LangChain: 2+ years (mandatory)
• LLMs or vLLMs: 2+ years (mandatory)
• RAG or OpenAI: 2+ years (required)

Requirements (AI Agent Architect)

• 3+ years with Python
• 3+ years with LLMs
• Multi-agent systems architecture, AI agent orchestration, and AI telemetry (must have)

Requirements (AI Automation Architect)

• 1+ year with Workflow Automation and Webhooks
• 3+ years with SQL (must)
• AI API integration and Claude Cowork (must)
• Familiarity with Make.com / n8n / Zapier

Senior Expectations / Soft Skills

• Advanced communication in English: discuss business tasks, justify decisions, and communicate issues
• Strong self-organization and ability to work full-time remotely with minimal supervision
• Reliability, adaptability, and ability to onboard quickly after accepting a project
