Senior Accountant

Role Overview

Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a remote position supporting a client in California (remote for over three months).

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with applicable guidelines.
• Perform thorough reconciliations to maintain integrity of financial data.
• Apply SaaS industry practices in day-to-day accounting tasks.
• Manage accounting operations in a multi-entity environment, including intercompany billing.
• Oversee procurement payments, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
• Execute month-end close procedures to produce accurate financial statements.
• Lead the year-end close process and ensure all financial activities are completed efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience with revenue recognition and reconciliations.
• Familiarity with SaaS technology industry standards and practices.
• Required experience handling multi-entity accounting with intercompany transactions.
• Strong understanding of procurement payments and financial compliance.
• Ability to manage month-end and year-end close processes effectively.

• Experience specifically aligned with SaaS revenue recognition, reconciliations, multi-entity close workflows, and intercompany billing.
