Senior Accountant (Technical Accounting)

About the role

Join our team as a Senior Accountant (Technical Accounting) where you will support technical accounting research and documentation, review contracts for accounting treatment, and participate in SEC reporting and accounting close activities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess accounting implications and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements. This role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, 5-7 years of experience in a public company accounting role, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and NetSuite. Key missions: Research, analyze, and document accounting conclusions for complex transactions, and prepare and maintain technical accounting position papers.. Review customer, vendor, and other business contracts to determine appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with US GAAP.. Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and flux analysis. Profile: - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field - Experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills and Microsoft Copilot - Experience with Workiva SEC reporting tool a plus - 5-7 years total experience in a public company accounting role, audit role at Big 4 public accounting firm, or a combination, including 2+ years in a technical accounting role - Proficiency using NetSuite in a multi-currency, multi-subsidiary environment a plus - CPA license preferred - Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment and ability to work longer hours at quarter end
