Senior Accountant

Role Overview

The Senior Accountant processes accounting transactions, maintains the integrity of the general ledger, compiles and analyzes financial reports, and provides ad hoc financial analysis. The role offers broad exposure across the accounting cycle and requires strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, general accounting processes, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Process journal entries and other accounting transactions
• Process expense report transactions
• Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
• Maintain overall accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
• Organize and maintain accounting files and records
• Perform monthly financial statement analytics
• Assist with the year-end audit
• Support special projects to improve efficiency of accounting processes
• Respond to requests for financial/accounting information from business teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 2–5 years of accounting experience
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to manage time, multi-task, and work independently
• Team-oriented and able to collaborate across departments

Nice to Haves

• Prior experience with NetSuite, Ramp, and Tipalti
