About the role

Role Overview

Join Equip Health as a Senior Accountant, acting as the accounting subject-matter expert. You’ll help build accounting processes, establish best practices, and support the Controller with annual financial statement audits.

Responsibilities

Own month-end and year-end close activities, including:
- balance sheet reconciliations
- support preparation of financial statements
Maintain and execute internal controls, documentation, and audit-readiness compliance procedures
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency using automation and electronic tools
Support the Controller in completing annual financial statement audits

Requirements

CPA license
5+ years of progressive professional accounting experience, including exposure to complex close cycles
Strong proficiency with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Advanced skills in Excel, NetSuite, and G-Suite
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field
Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Experience with multi-entity operations
Experience with healthcare accounting processes and procedures
