Senior Accountant

Role Overview

Senior Accountant at Attivo Partners. You will own critical accounting tasks and help scale the accounting and reporting function to support rapid company growth. The role requires strong willingness to learn, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting duties across:
  • Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Cash management, payroll
  • Fixed assets (FA), General Ledger (GL)
• Support the monthly close:
  • Post monthly journal entries
  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis
• Maintain regular cross-functional contact and strong client/team relationships to deliver high-quality service and work product
• Assist with projects and ad-hoc assignments as needed

Requirements

• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Proficiency with standard accounting/finance software (examples):
  • QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite
  • Campfire, Brex, Ramp, Rippling, Gusto, Rillet, Carta
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Fast learner with professional curiosity and desire to learn
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Preferred: 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience in a fast-paced technology or professional services environment

Nice to Have

• Experience implementing workflow automation or AI-enabled tools
• Familiarity with generative AI tools and automation platforms

Location / Work Model

• Work from home
• Location preference: San Francisco/Bay Area, Los Angeles/Southern California, New York City, Austin, Boston
• Some travel for in-person company events (approximately 2–3 weeks per year)
• In-person onboarding training within the first 3 months of employment (location varies)
