Senior Accountant

Role Overview

Senior Accountant at Attivo Partners. You will own critical accounting tasks and help ensure the accounting and reporting function scales with the company’s rapid growth. The role is ideal for a detail-oriented problem solver who is enthusiastic and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting tasks across AP, AR, cash management, payroll, fixed assets (FA), GL, and other assigned duties
• Support the monthly close by:
  • posting monthly journal entries
  • performing account reconciliations
  • conducting ad-hoc financial analysis
• Maintain regular communication and build strong working relationships to deliver high-quality customer service and work product
• Assist with special projects and other ad-hoc assignments as needed

Requirements

• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Experience with common accounting/payroll/finance software (preferred examples):
  • QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Campfire, Brex, Ramp, Rippling, Gusto, Rillet, Carta
• Highly detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Fast learner with professional curiosity
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience in a fast-paced technology or professional services environment

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience implementing workflow automation or AI-enabled tools
• Familiarity with generative AI tools and automation platforms

Location / Work Model

• Work from home with location preference for San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles/Southern California, New York City, Austin, and Boston
• Some travel for in-person company events, approximately 2–3 weeks per year
• In-person onboarding training within the first 3 months (location varies)
