About the role

Role Overview

As a Senior Accountant at Attivo Partners, you’ll take ownership of critical accounting tasks and help ensure the accounting and reporting function scales with rapid growth. You’ll be an enthusiastic, detail-oriented problem solver who enjoys learning in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day accounting duties across AP, AR, cash management, payroll, fixed assets (FA), GL, and other assigned tasks
Support the monthly close by posting journal entries, completing account reconciliations, and performing ad-hoc financial analysis
Maintain regular communication and build strong working relationships to ensure high-quality service and deliverables
Assist with special projects and ad-hoc assignments as needed

Requirements

Strong understanding of GAAP
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Fast learner with professional curiosity and desire to learn
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
4+ years of progressive accounting experience
Experience in a fast-paced technology or professional services environment
Experience with standard accounting software (preferred), e.g. QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite (plus others listed in posting)

Nice to Have

Experience implementing workflow automation or AI-enabled tools
Familiarity with generative AI tools and automation platforms
Experience with any of the listed tools such as Brex, Ramp, Rippling, Gusto, Carta, etc.

Work Model / Location

Work from home with location preference in: San Francisco/Bay Area, Los Angeles/Southern California, New York City, Austin, Boston
Travel: approximately 2–3 weeks per year for in-person company events
In-person onboarding during the first 3 months (varies by location)
