As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting general ledger accounting, financial reporting, audit support, and month-end close activities. Key missions: Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entry preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.. Lead designated portions of the month-end and year-end close process and support accurate, timely financial reporting.. Coordinate and support external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responses to audit inquiries. Profile: - If you are a motivated and detail-oriented professional looking for an opportunity to grow and contribute within a fast-paced organization, we encourage you to apply - Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial analysis principles - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team - Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making - Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex spreadsheets and financial models - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and analysis - Proficiency with ERP systems, including experience with NetSuite or similar platforms - CPA or MBA preferred - Previous experience in public accounting preferred - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate financial information effectively to diverse stakeholders - Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement process improvements - Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Passion for continuous learning and professional development - If you are selected for employment, a background check will be required.
