Role Overview

Senior Accountant (cross-functional)

You will support the broader Finance & Accounting function and partner directly with operations and delivery teams. The role is well-suited for a self-starter with strong accounting and systems experience, able to collaborate across different organizational levels.

Responsibilities

Month End Close

• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure financial records are stated in accordance with GAAP
• Calculate, monitor, and adjust cost accruals
• Post and review services revenue
• Prepare reports to analyze and validate service revenue/cost
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations
• Handle other month-end responsibilities as assigned

Analysis and Support

• Validate and act on unbilled/deferred revenue balances
• Partner with accounting and operations to resolve billing/invoicing issues

Ad Hoc Projects & Continuous Improvement

• Support additional accounting/finance processes as needed
• Perform and develop ad-hoc analysis and reporting to inform business decisions
• Participate in and drive process improvements
• Assist with external audit requests

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Strong accounting and systems experience
• Knowledge of financial reporting systems (preferred: Salesforce and NetSuite)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong time management, scheduling, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and resolve issues, escalating key concerns to leadership

Nice to Haves

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting
• ERP systems experience

Compensation & Benefits

• $85,000–$95,000/year (OTE; includes base salary and potential target bonus)
