Senior Account Manager

Role Overview

As a Senior Account Manager on Coinbase’s STP Account Management team, you’ll be the primary relationship owner for Coinbase Institutional’s highest-priority clients. Your goal is to ensure clients maximize the value of the Coinbase Prime platform across custody, trading, staking, and stablecoin services.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end client coverage for complex institutional accounts (e.g., asset managers, banks, corporates) from onboarding through ongoing account management.
• Drive adoption and retention, identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities tied to custody, trading, staking, and stablecoin.
• Coordinate with Sales, Trading, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to resolve complex client needs and deliver client-centric solutions.
• Lead product demonstrations and technical walkthroughs as the subject matter expert on institutional capabilities.
• Manage disciplined CRM pipeline and account management: triage requests, prioritize by impact, and drive issues to resolution with limited escalation.
• Influence the institutional product roadmap by translating client feedback, feature requests, and usage patterns into actionable insights for Product and Engineering.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years managing institutional client relationships in financial services, crypto exchanges, or fintech.
• Demonstrated ownership of complex, multi-product institutional accounts.
• Proven track record improving measurable outcomes such as client adoption, trading volume, or revenue.
• Experience managing full client lifecycles for institutional products such as prime brokerage, custody, trading, or staking.
• Strong ability to coordinate cross-functionally (e.g., Sales, Operations, Legal, Product) without direct authority.
• Fluent Mandarin (spoken and written) in addition to English.
• Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
