Senior Account Executive

Role overview

Senior Account Executive responsible for driving ARR growth across a defined portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts. You will manage the full sales motion including new business acquisition, account expansion, and executive relationship management, helping customers address complex challenges in data protection, governance, AI readiness, and operational resilience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory plan to build pipeline, acquire new customers, and expand strategic accounts; consistently exceed ARR/ACV targets.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level and senior technology leaders, delivering industry insight, business value justification, and strategic guidance.
• Use competitive analysis to educate customers on the value of Avepoint’s solutions.
• Drive outcomes by working directly with customers during negotiations to pursue quota goals.
• Collaborate with a virtual account team across the customer engagement lifecycle, including:
  • Marketing (lead generation)
  • Business Development Representatives (lead qualification)
  • Pre-sales Engineers (technical support)
  • Customer Success Managers (renewals after initial sale)

Requirements

• Experience in selling enterprise solutions with responsibility for ARR/ACV targets and complex sales cycles.
• Ability to build executive-level relationships and lead deals end-to-end.
• Strong skills in territory/account planning and competitive positioning.
