Security Engineer

Role Overview

Security Engineer responsible for building, defending, and scaling the security posture of Resilience’s SaaS platform and internal corporate systems. The role focuses on engineering proactive guardrails, automating incident response, and securing emerging AI/ML capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated security response playbooks using orchestration workflows (e.g., n8n, Tines, XSOAR) to reduce manual intervention.
• Lead agentic SecOps efforts by building custom SecOps applications and autonomous workflows to triage alerts and accelerate defense.
• Own cloud infrastructure security across a multi-cloud footprint (AWS/GCP).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (and related tooling as needed) and establish security guardrails.
• Secure AI platforms and developer tools, mitigating risks such as prompt injection and data leakage.
• Work closely with Security, IT, and DevOps to replace legacy processes with permanent automated fixes (not temporary patches).

Requirements

• 4+ years in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, or a high-level SecOps role.
• Strong automation mindset; proven experience with Python, Go, or low-code orchestration.
• Hands-on experience securing AWS or GCP services, including IAM and application/network protections (WAF/ALB, Fargate/Lambda).
• Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation/Pulumi) in a Git-based CI/CD workflow.
• Practical experience with agentic AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) for accelerating secure development and security auditing.
• Experience governing AI/model traffic using AI Gateways and the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Familiarity with container security, zero-trust networking (e.g., Zscaler), and EDR tools (e.g., CrowdStrike/SentinelOne).
• Experience managing endpoint security profiles (e.g., MDM/JAMF).

• Experience securing agentic developer tools and AI coding assistants.

Compensation

• $150,000 – $170,000 USD
