About the role
Role overview
You will join Reliable’s IT and Security team as a Security Engineer (Infrastructure and Client Platform). You’ll help improve the security and harden internal infrastructure, build and deploy managed security tools, and partner with Client Platform engineers to enforce security across endpoints.
Responsibilities
- Improve and increase hardening and defensive security of internal infrastructure
- Design, implement, and monitor security tools aligned to internal business needs and safety requirements
- Partner with the Client Platform team to enforce security configurations across endpoints:
- macOS, Windows, iOS, Android
- Participate in incident response and security operations
- Perform log analysis and support threat hunting exercises
Requirements
- 5+ years in IT/Infrastructure Security, Security Operations (SecOps), or Corporate Infrastructure Security
- Strong networking fundamentals and secure network architecture knowledge, including:
- VLAN segmentation
- Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
- Firewalls
- WiFi security
- Experience with modern endpoint protection and security tooling:
- EDR/XDR
- Log management/SIEM platforms
- Deep understanding of SSL certificates, PKI, and credential management
- Solid understanding of endpoint OS security and scalable configuration, especially:
- macOS and Windows 11
- MDM platforms such as Jamf, Intune, Kandji
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation of security operations and log ingestion
