Role overview

Security Engineer (Coding Agent Experience) (Contract, Fully Remote) You will use frontier AI coding agents to tackle and evaluate complex security engineering tasks, reviewing AI-generated code and architectures for security risks.

Responsibilities

• Use frontier AI coding agents to complete and evaluate security engineering tasks.
• Review model-generated code and system architectures for vulnerabilities and security risks.
• Identify bugs, edge cases, and security-related failure modes.
• Compare outputs from multiple frontier models to evaluate strengths and weaknesses.
• Apply professional engineering judgment to realistic security engineering scenarios.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional security engineering experience.
• Experience with one or more of:
  • Application security
  • Cloud security
  • Infrastructure security
  • Vulnerability management
• Regular experience using AI coding agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, or Gemini CLI.
• Ability to identify flaws in model-generated code and architectures.

Preferred

• Experience securing production systems.

Compensation

• Up to $85/hour (contract)
• $400 per accepted task; compensation is tied to accepted work.
