About the role

Security Engineer (100% Remote)

You will join the Security and IT Operations team to protect sensitive health information by ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of patient data in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

Protect and secure sensitive health information and supporting systems
Apply security controls aligned with healthcare and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA)
Support security operations across identity, access, and cloud environments
Help implement and maintain security best practices, including cloud security and DevSecOps practices

Requirements

3+ years of relevant security experience (or a Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering or related field; education may be substituted)
Experience with Cloud Service Providers: AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with Microsoft Entra and Active Directory
Experience with AWS IAM administration
Familiarity with healthcare and security/compliance frameworks: HIPAA, NIST, SOC 2, HITRUST
Current security certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCF, CSSLP)
Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and network protocols
Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban)

Nice to Have

Additional cloud security and DevSecOps implementation experience
