About the role

Role Overview

ThreatSpike is expanding its Security Operations Centre and is hiring Security Analysts based in Hawaii or Singapore (remote). The position focuses on SOC tiered operations (L1/L2), incident investigation, and threat intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • L1 SOC: Review client emails, identify phishing/scams, and perform initial triage
  • L2 SOC: Investigate high-severity incidents, manage client tickets, and conduct deeper analysis
  • Support digital forensics and incident response engagements
  • Collaborate with the development team to improve detection heuristics
  • Conduct threat intelligence and independent security research

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
  • Strong fundamentals across:
    • Operating systems
    • Networking and protocols
    • Scripting
    • Cloud infrastructure
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and curiosity
  • Ability to manage multiple tickets/investigations simultaneously
  • Confident communicator comfortable leading internal and client-facing conversations
  • Graduates welcome (strong fundamentals and motivation to grow in security operations)

Location / Work Model

  • Remote, based in Hawaii or Singapore
  • Applicants must already have legal right to work in the location they apply for; no visa sponsorship
  • Occasional company-wide town halls in the UK
