Role Overview

Security Analyst (Fully Remote) — Cybersecurity Expert (contract)

You will help evaluate AI-generated cybersecurity artifacts by reviewing outputs, generating realistic scenarios, and validating data against established security frameworks and threat intelligence standards.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate AI-generated outputs for:
  • threat analysis
  • vulnerability assessments
  • security architecture recommendations
• Create realistic cybersecurity scenarios based on real workflows, including:
  • incident response runbooks
  • threat hunting queries
  • penetration testing reports
• Annotate, label, and validate data for cybersecurity use cases such as:
  • CVE classification accuracy
  • SIEM alert triage
• Provide structured feedback on AI accuracy using:
  • NIST CSF and MITRE ATT&CK
  • threat intelligence standards STIX/TAXII
• Collaborate asynchronously with research teams to refine evaluation frameworks for cybersecurity AI

Requirements

Must-Have

• 3+ years of professional cybersecurity experience in an enterprise environment, MSSP, consultancy, or government/defense setting
• Background in one or more areas:
  • SOC analysis
  • incident response (DFIR)
  • penetration testing
  • threat intelligence
  • security architecture
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate security operations into structured evaluation tasks
• Clear written communication and strong attention to detail

Preferred

• Relevant certifications such as: CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, GIAC, or Security+

Compensation & Terms

• $1,750–$2,150 per completed task (task completion / quality-based)
• Weekly performance bonus for top performers
• Hourly opportunity for sustained quality (transition possible)
