Join Coinbase as a Security Access Management Analyst. In this role, you will conduct end-to-end transaction monitoring investigations to identify suspicious activity, protect Coinbase from financial crime risk, and ensure compliance with BSA/AML regulatory requirements. You will analyze transaction activity, KYC information, and evidence from external tools and systems to determine the legitimacy of customer behavior across multiple products. You will also draft clear, accurate SAR narratives and maintain detailed investigation documentation. This position requires 4+ years of experience in financial services, crypto, or fintech with a focus on transaction monitoring, BSA/AML compliance, or financial crime investigations. Key missions: Conduct end-to-end transaction monitoring investigations to identify suspicious activity and ensure compliance with BSA/AML regulatory requirements.. Analyze transaction activity, KYC information, and evidence from external tools to determine the legitimacy of customer behavior and recommend whether activity warrants escalation or SAR filing.. Draft clear, accurate SAR narratives and maintain detailed investigation documentation to demonstrate compliance with regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements. Profile: - Familiarity with transaction monitoring systems, KYC/CDD processes, and compliance tools (e.g., Hummingbird, Chainalysis, or similar) - Proven experience drafting and filing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) with accurate, well-structured narratives that meet regulatory standards - 4+ years of experience in financial services, crypto, or fintech with a focus on transaction monitoring, BSA/AML compliance, or financial crime investigations - Demonstrated ability to interpret complex transaction patterns across multiple products, apply regulatory requirements to case investigations, and make independent escalation decisions - Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality
