SecDevOps Engineer

Role Overview

As a SecDevOps Engineer at Zama, you will integrate security practices into the team’s processes for decentralized applications, blockchain networks, and SaaS/web services. You’ll collaborate closely with cryptographers and engineers to maintain the excellence of Zama’s cryptographic solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement security best practices across systems including blockchain networks, smart contracts, key management systems, and web applications.
• Set up and manage monitoring and alerting for security issues across the blockchain network and web applications.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to identify, mitigate, and reduce security risks.
• Monitor and support incident response activities.
• Create and maintain documentation, and support compliance and governance efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience in DevOps and security.
• Experience integrating security best practices across multiple stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as:
  • Metasploit
  • Burp Suite
  • OWASP ZAP
• Understanding of security standards/frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Security/DevOps/Blockchain certifications (e.g., CKA, CISSP, CBP).
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.
• Deep knowledge of blockchain security (key management, cryptographic algorithms, consensus mechanisms).
• Experience in DeFi, DEXs, and emerging Web3 technologies.
• Contributions to open-source blockchain/security projects.
