SDET / QA Automation Test Engineer 100% Remote Contract Job

Role Overview

SDET / QA Automation Test Engineer (Contract) — 100% Remote for a 6+ month engagement with potential extension. You’ll join a Scrum team to support QA efforts for a standardization initiative, with a strong emphasis on data/SQL validation and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Work within a Scrum/Agile team aligned to Product Owners
• Participate in ceremonies and planning:
  • Daily stand-ups
  • 2-week sprints
  • Quarterly PI planning
  • End-of-sprint retrospectives
• Create and document test cases for the initiative
• Execute tests during the sprint cycle, including defect logging and adherence to QA processes
• Automate tests using the existing/required automated test framework
• Contribute to test planning, execution, automation, defect management, and delivery quality metrics

Requirements (Must-Haves)

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3–4+ years of experience (or more)
• SQL expertise
• Experience with Teradata
• Experience with ETL
• Experience with Snowflake
• Test Automation experience
• CI/CD knowledge
• Manual testing experience
• Agile / Scrum experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare experience
